Injured US Soccer player Charlie Davies has been released from the Intensive Care Unit at a Washington D.C. area hospital following a tragic car accident that claimed the life of one person and left Davies and another injured. Davies underwent surgery the day of the accident.
Davies still faces more surgery for facial fractures and an injured elbow. The US MNT played Costa Rica days after the accident and fans and players demonstrated their support for Dvies by waving number 9 fliers and wearing shirts with Davies name on them.
