The US Men's National Soccer Team has announced the 23-man roster. Ahead of today's game against Turkey in Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field. That game begins at 2PM EST/11PM PST. That game can be seen on ESPN 2.
“We’ll have a team that is close to our regular eleven. As we get closer to the England match, we always have to make decisions about what will be our best team for that day. So we’ll use a tough matchup with Turkey to help us in that regard,”Coach Bob Bradley said about today's starting eleven.
The Dutch walked away with a cheap win today after a bunch of sorry acting, whining and luck. That's why Americans find it hard to watch soccer. Late in the first half, some light contact between crying Dutchman Robben and an American defender sent Robben flying to the ground and apparently ailing like he had just been mowed down by a bus. So, naturally, this being soccer, the Dutch get a penalty kick, essentailly a free goal for Robben's Oscar worthy performance.

Coach Bob Bradley of the United States Soccer team has announced his 23-man roster for World Cup training. The team will gather Feb. 10 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA to begin preparations for the Feb. 23 match against El Salvador in Tampa, FL.
The US Men's National Team lost its opening match of 2010 with a loss to Honduras 3-1 Saturday night in Carson, CA. The US went down to 10 men in 17th minute after defender Jimmy Conrad was sent off after a second yellow card. Honduras took the lead on a Carlos Pavon penalty kick. Honduras' Jerry Palacios headed a ball in to give Honduras a 2-0 lead in the 37th minute.
Clint Dempsey, a forward for the US Soccer team injured his knee Sunday in London, England while playing for Premier League team Fulham.

England vs US MNT
The World Cup group play drawing is over and the United States has drawn England, Slovenia and Algeria in Group C play. This group is not tough. England likes to think it’s a powerhouse, but it’s not really and the other two teams are not expected to put up a tough fight.
Injured US Soccer player Charlie Davies has been released from the Intensive Care Unit at a Washington D.C. area hospital following a tragic car accident that claimed the life of one person and left Davies and another injured. Davies underwent surgery the day of the accident.
A last second goal by Jonathan Bornstein saved the US from taking what would have been its only loss in WC qualifying. Down 2-0 at half the US was able to put two goals in the net late in the game keeping them atop the CONCACAF group.
Bryan Ruiz put Costa Rica up early with a goal in the 21st minute. At 24 minutesin he scored his second goal of the game. Costa Rica went in at halftime up 2-0.
